Detailed Itinerary

01

Manali – Arrival

All participants are required to arrive in Manali today. Check in to the hotel and relax as the day is meant for acclimatization. You may explore local attractions and markets in Manali or do any last-minute shopping. In the evening, the Road Captain will conduct a briefing about riding in the Leh–Ladakh terrain, followed by bike allocation after registration and paperwork. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Manali – Sarchu

📍 Manali – Atal Tunnel – Keylong – Jispa – Baralacha La – Sarchu

After breakfast, start the ride from Manali toward Sarchu. Pass through the famous Atal Tunnel and continue via Keylong and Jispa. En route, witness the beautiful Suraj Tal and cross Zingzing Bar before riding over the high mountain pass Baralacha La (4,890 m). Reach Sarchu by evening for dinner and an overnight stay in camps.

Sarchu - Leh

📍 Sarchu – Gata Loops – Pang – More Plains – Tanglang La – Karu – Leh

After breakfast, begin the ride toward Leh. En route, conquer the famous Gata Loops with its 21 thrilling hairpin bends and continue to Pang. Ride across the stunning More Plains, known as one of the most beautiful high-altitude roads in the world. Later cross Tanglang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes on the route, before descending towards Karu and finally reaching Leh by evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Leh (Local Sight Seeing)

Wake up at leisure and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today is a relaxed day to explore the beautiful city of Leh at your own pace. Visit popular attractions like the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hills, Indus-Zanskar Confluence (Sangam), Hall of Fame Museum, Shanti Stupa, Thiksey Monastery, Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, and the historic Leh Palace. You can also explore the local Tibetan market and city markets. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Leh – Khardung-La – Nubra Valley

📍 Leh – South Pullu – Khardung La – North Pullu – Khardung Village – Khalsar Village – Diskit Monastery – Hunder (Nubra Valley)

Start early after breakfast and ride to Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Continue the journey into the beautiful Nubra Valley, once part of the historic Silk Route. Visit the famous Diskit Monastery and reach the sand dunes of Hunder. Enjoy the scenic cold desert and optional camel rides on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Capture the stunning sunset and spend the night at Hunder.

Nubra Valley – Pangong Tso

📍 Hunder – Agham – Shyok – Durbuk – Tangtse – Spangmik (Pangong Tso)

After breakfast, begin the adventurous ride toward Pangong Lake via the scenic Agham–Shyok route, a less-traveled but thrilling path that truly tests your riding skills. Reach the stunning Pangong Lake by afternoon and check into camps near the lake. Spend the evening enjoying the mesmerizing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp near Pangong.

Pangong Tso – Leh

📍 Spangmik (Pangong Tso) – Tangtse – Chang La – Sakti – Karu – Leh

After breakfast, visit the famous 3 Idiots point at Pangong Lake and enjoy a photo session by the stunning lake. Later begin the journey back to Leh, crossing Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Halt for tea en route and continue the scenic ride. Reach Leh by evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Leh – Departure

Today marks the end of the expedition. Wake up in the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and proceed toward your home destination. The journey concludes in Leh with countless unforgettable memories of this incredible Himalayan adventure.
